He attended St. Casimir Elementary School and St. Catherine's High School in Wisconsin, and then entered the Congregation of the Resurrection, professing religious vows on February 2, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois. The Congregation of the Resurrection, and the Church are grateful for his 73 years in consecrated life, and 65 years as a priest of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank Father Henry Ruszel for the loving and dedicated manner in which he cared for Father Humphrey during the last years of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to Resurrection Seminary, c/o Our Lady of the Desert Church, 18386 Corwin Rd., Apple Valley CA 92307.
