Well Momma we're here where you loved spending ur birthdays, so wish you could be here in this beautiful new 5th wheel celebrating one more in Palm Springs with us ! It's so comforting knowing your watching all our journeys and knowing we've done most of these same things with you. Funniest memory is I'm always making ice in our rig just like you always did in your trailer, we both refuse to buy it. Love and miss you always Bobette

Happy Easter Mama, I hope you and all our Heavenly families are watching over us! We missed you at sunrise service today, did you see the big cross I lit up on the hill. I remember when we hiked up a mountain in Rubidoux for Easter service and you wore that same mink stole that you have on today, nobody looked as good as you in that mink! I sure hope you see how well we are all doing and oh I bet you laugh when we watch the twins and Sophie. Watch over that son of mine when he moves away and keep those four grandbabies safe OK. You were right on as I do miss you so much, even knowing how hard it was to take care of you in your Alzheimer's state, well I would do it all over again and again. We love you the mostess Love Bobette and Chrissy

Happy Mom's Day to you on this 4th year since you've been gone. I know you love your flowers and waxed up headstone. I bet you love how I run all over that place and take care of all the mom's headstones and even Aunt June. I sure hope you're enjoying a peaceful rest cause you were so busy spreading love around down here! Wasn't that nice of one of the 3 girls to leave both of you a rose. It won't be long until our girl has her twins so you watch over her and help her become the bestest mama like you. Love Bobette and Chris

HAPPY 95th Birthday Mama I hope your missing us as much as we miss you! I'm pretty sure that pastor was right at that funeral we went to when he said that all of the people in Heaven were looking down and praying for us. That made me feel so good again knowing your watching over us, For sure. Life on earth is definitely challenging and so sad for me without you. But I should know by how blessed we are that you're still helping Chris and I from above. I bet you're loving how we're keeping your memory alive with everyone we talk to about you everyday another great story and you'll always be in ours. Have alot of fun today celebrating with all your friends. We love you our Mama and hopefully be with you again someday .

I haven't been able to read your books yet, but you know I've put them out and soon I'm gonna get a hold of Peggy Dale and Jodi and have a reading and remembering group. You will be bringing us laughter and love from above. Aren't you so proud of our new mom and I love that she uses your words like "pumpkin" for her baby, reminds me of you every time. I love you the mostest mom. Keep watching over us now that Chris is retiring and we'll be on our life adventures, I really think we've earned some happy time together, especially after all we've done for all our families. We found some sandwich just the other day that you stashed behind a table, it made us laugh. I wish you were here to make pancakes for, as you'd say OH GOODY and gobble em up. I KNOW you were with us at the poker table tonite, watching all the fun. I miss you the mostest MOM, forever till I'M with you again. Love from your youngest Bobette

O5/01/1921, Happy Birthday Mama,This is the 1st time in my life I cannot give you something on May 1st, I've been really sad all day. I miss you but include your name in everything we do. I know you were with us at Angie's beach celebration on Saturday, and of course I talked about you in my speech, I think that was the reason I cried so much. So for now Ta/Ta Mama gone but never forgotten. Love you the most Bobette

Happy Valentines to my Mama the love of my life from my birth to age 55 you were always by my side, or just a phone call away you always had something good or funny to say. Now it's not the same as I cry for you almost everyday, I miss you most on holidays. My Thanksgiving, Xmas, & Valentines Day I'm missing you in everyway. Especially on Superbowl you would've loved the food & excitement & everyone cheering. Oh & of course the free drinks Chris & I got, even extra tickets from people in the elevator. I know you were there with me, because we all missed our floor, but had drinks galore.
Well Mom we did our best to send you off with happiness. We have been told by many that your funeral was so special. We had your song "Peg O My Heart", we made a picture CD to play, Chris wanted to do your picture boards himself as he knew what you wanted. Friends helped me get dozens of donuts, muffins, fruit & drinks. Chris, Jodi{greg's wife}, & I tried to pick out all the stories from the books of your life {your diaries}. Lynn, Teri,& Pam tried to sort thru them & distribute the funniest, cutest things you wrote to be read by that person if they wanted to share. Lynn said later that there were so many great stories she wished she had more time to read them. But we all know how much fun you packed into your 91 years on this earth.
So many flowers, so many tears just what you always said you wanted. Your kids did what you expected they would do. Peggy Dale & I met up to put flowers in your new vase, and share ALL that you left for us. Bobby reserved the American Legion & we all ate just like you would've wanted.
Well my Mama I will continue to carry all our memories with me. Thanks for the last few years of teaching me the most important lesson which was Patience. I will practice this until we meet again to laugh together. Have fun with all the children in Heaven, your precious Mama Mary viola, your brother Dee, & your dads Thomas & Dave.

I LOVE YOU{the mostest} <3 Bobette<3

Peggy was my mom's dearest friend for over 30 years. An exuberant and lively woman she was. I used to hang out in the beauty shop with her and my mom and all the "old" ladies! Many wonderful memories. My mom, Maurine Moore, and Peggy spent much time together before they each went to live their last memories with their families. How ironic that Peggy should pass just days now before my mom will be. I guess they will be together again in heaven!.....Barbara (Moore) Garcia and family

Dear Peggy,
I can only tell you how much our daughter loved you. When she would call home to mass. she always talked about the things you 2 did together and the fun you had. You helped her so much when she was so far away from her own family welcoming her into yours, and I as a Mom want to thank you for that. I do have one more request being we use to have our little bets going on with you routing for the LA Angels and us routing for the Boston Red Sox's. We really do need for you to put in an extra word for them this next season and we truly understand if it is only when they are not playing the Angels. Forever in our thoughts and prayers. You and I will meet again
When we're least expecting it
One day in some far off place
I will recognize your face

Grandma, We are sorry that we cannot be there, we will miss you very much. The world is without one of the greatest ladies ever, but now God gets the pleasure of your company, I just hope that you don't beat him too badly at Gin. You were always welcoming and never turned anyone away. I will never forget all of the camping trips, the Disneyland trips or the beach trips that you took us kids on every year. I will never forget going to the beauty shop and sitting under the hair dryers. We Love you Gramms, you are forever in our hearts.

Love Always,

My sweet Peggy. I am gonna miss her. She has a way of just making you laugh, no matter how rough your day is. And I never got the chance to play Gin with her because I knew how many times she beat my Brother Chris and my Sister in law Bobette.
The chair she claimed in our house when she would come to visit frequently will never be empty. Because when I look over there or sit in it, I remember her. Her fun giggle and smile will sure be missed though. Peggy will remain in my heart for all time.

When my brother Chris and his wife Bobette became a couple, I met Bobettes Mother Peggy. It was 24 years ago and I was only 17 years old. She embraced me with so much love and joy it was as if we had known each other forever. Soon after, the name Peggy simply became Grandma and in the most true way.

This was a woman filled with smiles, laughter, spunk, kindness, generosity, stubbornness, love and the upmost appreciation all rolled into a wonderful lady named "Grandma". AKA: "Gamma". I will always remember the trips to Huntington Beach, including many Thanksgivings and Christmas Holidays. You will always and forever be in my heart with a vision so perfectly clear in my memory until we meet again someday in Gods Heavenly Kingdom. R.I.P Gamma. -Mickey-

Peggy will definitely be missed. She always had a smile on her face, never turned down playing gin rummy, and lived for her word puzzles the last year. She could not remember all of our names anymore except Bobette's and Chris's, but she never forgot how to smile. I never knew a Grandma who loved her grandkids so much that their games were the most important thing on her calendar! I know she's with the Lord. We talked about God many times, even though a few months ago I was the one who did the talking because she was unable to remember much by then. Until we meet again, Peg o' my heart.
