Marie (nee Blankowitz), 57, a lifelong resident of Wallington passed away on November 6, 2012. Marie was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of SS. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, a member of the East Rutherford Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and a Rainbow Girl. Beloved wife for 30 years of John S. Nitek, Jr. Loving sister of Nancy Quattrocchi and her husband Alfred and Susan Gottilla and her husband Roger. Cherished aunt of Michael Quattrocchi and his wife Wilma, Susan Quattrocchi, Matthew Gottilla, Andrew Gottilla, Russell Gottilla and the late Caryn Quattrocchi and great aunt of Michael and Kevin Quattrocchi. Devoted daughter of the late Frank and Helen (nee Jaretsky) Blankowitz. Funeral from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 9:30 AM and from SS. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, Passaic at 10 AM. Interment SS. Peter & Paul R.O. Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visitation Friday evening 5-9 PM with Parastas at 7 PM.

I was sadden to hear of Marie's passing. She was a close friend and playmate in Grammar School. I will always remember her for being one of the sweetest person growing up. My sympathies to your family.
