Ralph R. O'Brien
85 passed away on November 9, 2012 in San Bernardino, CA. Originally from Colorado, Ralph had lived in the San Bernardino area for over 50 years. He was a WWII Veteran proudly serving in the US Navy.
He was an educator for 37 years with the San Bernardino School District working also with Adult Education. He was a member of the CA Teachers Association, the Retired CA Teachers Association, a former member of Elks Club Lodge 836 and a long time member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
He is survived by Lucille, his wife of 62 years. Also surviving him are children David (Claudine) O'Brien and John O'Brien and his grandchildren Benjamin, Sarah, Talia, True and Blake.
A committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Riverside, CA followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at St John's Episcopal Church, 1407 N. Arrowhead Ave. San Bernardino, CA 92405. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ralph's memory to St. John's Episcopal Church or the American Lung Association. On this last day that messages can be sent, I looked up Ralph by a Google search and found that he had passed away one year ago. He was Rosalie's, my wife's, favorite Rockwell relative. He had a very pleasing personality and must be extremely missed by his family
