Judith M. Ward, 75, of Oscoda, formerly of Chesaning, passed away Friday morning, Nov. 9, 2012, at Tawas St. Joseph Hospital after fighting a long and hard battle with her illness for many years.
She was born Feb. 12, 1937 in Owosso to the late Edwin and Clara (nee Wheatley) Jones. She married Gerald Ward on Oct.8, 1955, he survives her.
Judith formerly operated a beauty shop in Fenton.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald; two children, Mark Ward of Flushing and Kelly (Ken) Bissonnette of Grand Blanc; four grandchildren, Jennifer Ward and Brenna, Brandon and Cory Bissonnette; and one brother, Jim (Maria) Jones of Ovid.
She was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 12 at the Walker-Martin Funeral Home in Chesaning. Rev. Ernesto Mariona officiated, with burial following in Brant Cemetery.
