L. Reynolds
CHATHAM - Norman L. Reynolds, 79 of Chatham passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born September 11, 1933 in Springfield, the son of Alvey and Freda Dunkirk Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Dale and Robert, one sister, Thelma Dunkirk.
Norman loved working at Goodwill in Springfield for over 40 years. His great joys in life were his family, fishing, Elvis and the Special Olympics.
Surviving are four nieces, Sharon McNutt and Judy (Earl) Clark both of Springfield, Les Faulkenberry of Ashland, NE, Diane (Steve) Savage of Tulsa, OK; two nephews, Bob (Linda) Reynolds of Phoenix, AZ and Ray (Celesta) Reynolds of Enid, OK; several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9:00am till time of services at 10:30am, Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Chatham United Methodist Church with Rev. Sara Isbell and Rev. Earl Clark officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Special Olympics or charity of your choice.

One thing about Norman was he was a good guy and I miss him like crazy because he was not at our christmas party this year.

I am missing norman like crazy because he was a good guy to be around and he liked to go bowling with his house mates. one thing about norman is that he was all ways in a good mood when he came to work on mondays,wednesdays,fridays. he liked to go to the holiday parties and to our anuunal dinner

I just want to say one thing about Norman is that he was a friendly person to every one. One thing Norman that is loved going to work at goodwill to see his friends that were there and he loved to work all the time and make money and he always made people laugh when they were upset and he was all ways there for his friends and his family

One thing I just want to say about Norman was that when I came to his house to ask him questions for my job that I do and when I got to his house he always put a smile on his face and he loved it when there was guest in his house and he always told us to come in. One thing about Norman was he loved to go to special Olympics with his house mates and he always wear his metals to goodwill to show every one.

I had the pleasure of meeting Norman years ago when I worked at Spfld Clinic. I enjoyed his storys and looking over his metals and whatever he may have brought along with him. He would always have his great smile when he walked into the room. Condolences to his family and friends.

I knew Norman from attending Springfield Southern Baptist Church back in the 1980's. I always looked forward to seeing him and Juanita at church! My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Norman Reynolds. May God comfort you in this time of need.

Norman was a very good guy and he always been at work even when he was sick. Norman was a good guy to every one and he always made people laugh all the time.

I also worked with Norman...I still visited whenever I came back into town. He was such a great guy..with a true heart of gold! I can imagine him in heaven taking pictures of Elvis, with his giant smile! He will be missed but still loved dearly. My prayers are with his family,housemates, and co workers at the goodwill. He loved his family so much always showing me pictures! God bless and know he smiling down on all of us!

I worked with Norman for several years and very much enjoyed doing so! He was a good man who loved to joke around. All staff loved Norman! He will be missed! My condolences to Norman's family!
