Charles C "Charlie" Jensen, 60
Charles C "Charlie" Jensen, 60, of Lafayette, went home to his Heavenly Father surrounded by his loving family Thursday, December 27, 2012, at IU Clarian Health Arnett.
Born October 17, 1952, in Rensselaer, he was the son of the late James Edwin and Ida Mildred Dart Jensen.
Charles was employed at Kirby Risk for the last 9 years. Prior to that, he was a truck driver for IMI.
He is survived by his fiancé and the love of his life, Hope Sayre, of Lafayette; two sons, James Charles "JC" Jensen and Brandon Leif Jensen, both of Florida; five sisters, Janice Elaine Knorr, of Winamac, Karen Ida Havel, of Naperville, Ill., Sandra Lee (Michael) Norris, of Yeoman, Kris E. (David) Lawson, of Royal Center and Leslie Ann (Phillip "Bo") Irwin, of Monticello; and two grandchildren, Christopher Walter Jensen and Jaylin Nicole Jensen, both of Fla.
Services will be held at Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel in Lafayette, Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 3 p.m. with Celebrant Patricia Fisher officiating.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services on Saturday in the funeral chapel.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Association.
Envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.

I am deeply sorry to learn of Charles' death. My wife and I want to extend our condolences to the family, and to his sisters, my first cousins. I remember so many Christmases with you guys, Grandma Maggie was so much fun, your mom and dad. Again, our condolences.
