Carrie Belle Fish Eddie slipped peacefully away December 22, 2012, from hands lovingly held by her husband of 71 years, Carroll Thomas "Pat" Eddie, Sr. and her son, Carroll Thomas "Tom" Eddie, Jr. Born October 12, 1917, in Frankfort, KY, to the late Dr. Carlos Albert and Maria Fenwick Trimble Fish, Sr. She and her late siblings, Helen Lowndes Fish (James Talton) Turner, Dr. Carlos Albert (Nancy) Fish, Jr. and South Trimble (Joy) Fish were descended from early prominent Kentuckians. She was a graduate of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, beautiful WWII bride, beloved wife and mother, educator and executive secretary, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother "GamGam." She and her husband were longtime Central Kentucky residents with relatives and friends in Shelbyville, Lexington, and Louisville, while other relatives reside in Washington, D.C., and California. After a successful business and retirement in Clearwater, FL, they last retired to Courtenay Springs Village, Merritt Island, FL. Besides her husband Pat, Carrie Belle is survived by sons Carroll Thomas, Jr. (Greggorie Elizabeth), Lee Allan, Ben Carlos (Mary Jane) and former daughter-in-law Luanne; nephew Jim and nieces Florian and Joy; grandchildren Trim, Todd, Dan, Joshua, Jamie, Chris, Joe, Michael and Sara; great-grandchildren Holden, Helena, Miles, Cordelia, Audrey, John, Bridget, James, Faith and Grace. Hubbell Funeral Home, Belleair Bluffs, FL, conducted family services at noon on December 28, 2012 and burial afterwards at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo, FL.
