My dads best friend through childhood and life. I grew up ganging out at the house with that incredible tree house and club house. Just seeing memorial page now but I of course knew of his passing. Peace be with the family and his soul.

Although I only knew him as my high school friend's dad and spoke to him just a handful of times, it was easy to see what kind of man he was simply by watching him interact with his family, knowing how well-respected he was by his community, and also by seeing how his kids turned out~creative, intelligent, confident, and independent. I appreciated his and his family's generosity during those few years. My heart goes out to the Setian Family.

He was funny, kind and genuinely cared for people. I remember going to their home with Holly and always being so welcomed. Just an amazing family - this world is a better place because of Jack Setian. Grateful I had the chance to know him. May he know peace and the fulness of love!

My thoughts are with you and your family Shaunna. I met your dad only once. But I know you loved him dearly! I think my mom is up there helping your dad find his way around so don't worry. He's in good hands.

I had known Jack but just a short while, ~9 months, but he left such an impression on me, with his positivity and knowledge about so many things, plus his great generosity. I was getting him groceries and running errands his final two weeks. We had such great conversations and visits and I got to know what a great man he was. I will really miss him.

Jack Setian was a most unique friend. We enjoyed his friendship for many a year and he was always up and full of ideas on various subjects.
We had real estate deals, organizations we belonged to and charitable pursuits that always engendered his complete energy and cooperation.
May he rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him . His memory is alive and well in the hearts of all that knew him.
Our condolences to his many friends and family.
May we see him again in eternity holding forth at the hot tub or pool in Paradise.
