Wilbur Whitfield Peterson Jr. of Torrey died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Peterson.
He was born in New Jersey to the late Wilbur Sr. and Margaret Peterson.
He is also survived by his children, Wilbur Peterson III, Suzanne Brussel, Ellen Cole and BethAnn McCartney; a son-in-law, Joseph Jordan; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and four sisters.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Grace Jordan; and a brother, Wayne Wilbur Peterson.
Services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Grace Episcopal Church, Church Street, Honesdale. Cremation took place in Lake Region Crematory at the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are under the direction of the James Wilson Funeral Home, Lake Ariel.
