Barbara Marant Obituary

EWING - Barbara G. Marant, 84, of Ewing, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Care One in Ewing after a short illness.
Born in Princeton, Barbara moved to Ewing 50 years ago. She retired in 1975 from New Jersey Bell in Trenton as a telephone operator, after 30 years of service with the company.
Barbara was a member of the Church of the Incarnation-St. James Seniors and an avid New York Yankees fan.
She was predeceased by her first husband, John J. Koch, her second husband, Joseph Marant, a daughter, Barbara Ann Koch, step-daughter, Mary Rathbun, two brothers, William W., Jr. and Richard Golden and a sister, Joan Thomas.
She is survived by her daughter Denise Tock, grandson, Jason Tock, sister, Carol Golden, step-daughter, Karen Marant, step-sons, Frank J. Marant and his wife Betsy, and Joseph Marant and his wife Beverly, step-grandchildren, Ellyn, Daniel and John Logan Marant, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
After a private cremation, a memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at 10:45 a.m. in St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in St. Paul Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice are appreciated.
