Charles "Ed" McKinney

Charles Edward "Ed" McKinney, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was a son of the late James Furman and Nettie Mae Williams McKinney. Mr. McKinney retired from Regal Textiles, Furman Good Guys Golf Group, and was a member of Second Baptist Church of Travelers Rest.
He is survived by his daughters: Lisa Tinsley, Tonnie Young(Jeff), Angie McKinney; son: Greg McKinney; sister: Shelby Jean Lane; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Linda Cawthon.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.
Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park.
The family will be at his home.
Memorials may be made to the COPD Foundation, 2937 SW 27th Avenue, Suite 302, Miami, FL 33133.
