Janet Lynn Brandt
5/25/1950 - 1/12/2013
Janet Lynn Brandt passed away peacefully at her home in Foresthill, California on January 12, 2013. Peter Brandt, her loving husband of twelve years; her son Stephen Strahm; his girlfriend Francesca Saphirand, and Janet's faithful dog Jake, were all by her side.
Janet, the oldest of five children, was born on May 25, 1950 in Palo Alto, California to Alan and Jean Wells. She graduated from Palo Alto High School in 1968 and attended Foothill College. She lived in many areas of California, including Mountain View, the Santa Cruz Mountains, and Foresthill. Lake Tahoe was the place she loved to be at most.
She is survived by: her husband Peter, son Stephen Strahm, step-son Jody Brandt, as well as her mother, sister, brothers, and many extended family members.
Her mantra was: "Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out shouting "Holy S***, Whata ride!" She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
