BURNETT, JAMES R., 89
Summerfield - James R. Burnett, a retired printing supervisor, died January 18th 2013 in Summerfield, Florida at age 89.
A native of Maryland, he moved to Duluth, Minnesota in 1988 and then to Summerfield in 1996. Mr. Burnett was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and saw action at Guadalcanal, Tinian and Okinawa. He was a life member of the First Marine Division Association.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathleen Burnett of Leesburg, Virginia.
He mowed around
the buttercups.
