Joan O'Keefe Obituary

JOAN LUCILLE O'KEEFE


Born January 25, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. Passed away January 11, 2013 in Northridge, California.

She is survived by her children - Kathleen Shaw (son-in-law Roger Shaw), Theresa O'Keefe, Janet Cravens (son-in-law Jim Cravens, granddaughter Jamie Cravens), and Mark O'Keefe (daughter-in-law Linda Jones).

After years of raising her four children Joan returned to the work force while continuing her dedication as a wonderful mother. Her most extensive employment was for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS). She retired from DPSS in March 1996, just one month shy of 28 years in their employ.

Joan is interred at the San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choosing.
