GALLOWAY, ROBERT
Orange Park, FL - After battling pancreatic cancer for five years, Robert Galloway, aged 44 of Orange Park, FL passed away January 19, 2013 at home with his wife and son by his side. Rob was born in July 1968 in New York and grew up in Wrexham, North Wales and Hereford, UK. Rob served in the U.S. Air Force, earned his commercial pilot's license, and worked in the aviation field.
He is preceded in death by his mother Olive. Rob leaves behind his beloved wife, Erikka Stocker Galloway, and son, Nicholas of Gainesville, FL; sister, Rosemary Galloway of Greenville, SC; father, Philip Galloway and step-mother Charlene Galloway of Martin, GA. Rob will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 550 NE 16th Avenue Gainesville, FL with Fr. Roland Julien as celebrant. The family will receive friends 1/2 hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the church. Graveside Services will follow in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL.
Arrangements are under the care of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to help fund Nicholas' education. Donations can be sent to Nicholas Galloway, 2445 N Morton St Franklin, IN 46131.

I had the pleasure of working with Rob some time ago when he was attending training classes in Atlanta and Orlando. Not only a great guy but he was also very patient and competent. My heart goes out to his family for this incredible loss. Rob will also be greatly missed by his coworkers.

I offer my comdolences to the Galloway family and pray that you find strength and comfort through this sad time. I am glad to have known and worked with him during his time here in Atlanta, and will miss our morning pleasantries over coffee. Rest in Peace, Robert.
