Barbara P. Fleming
GALION: Barbara P. Fleming, 80, of Galion, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Galion Community Hospital, Galion. She fought hard to stay with her family for as long as she could, but in the end, she went peacefully.
Barbara was born in Dayton, on August 3, 1932.
She was a loving mother and grandmother to all and was known to many as "Grandma Barb". Barbara loved playing with her grandchildren. She always knew what to say or do to bring you up when you were feeling down and was always there to give a helping hand. She could always put a smile on your face when you needed it the most. She brought joy to all our lives and also to everyone who knew her. Our beloved mother has always been our greatest role model. Everything good in us, we received from her. She will be deeply missed and she is now at peace in heaven with the angels.
She is survived by ten children: Robert L (Kris) Fleming, Dublin; Rebecca P. King, Ashland; Terry E. Fleming, Tucson, AZ; Randy E. (Josephine) Fleming, FL; Rhonda P. (Paul) Keck, Shiloh; Darlene D. (Gary) Marvicsin, Port Clinton; Anthony S. (Brenda) Fleming, Mansfield; Phyllis R. (Carl) Westmoreland, Willard; Christopher (Jana) Fleming, Polk; Kristina R. (Jeremiah) Franks, Galion; thirty grandchildren, over forty great-grandchildren, numerous great great-grandchildren; her sisters Carol (Dennis) Cutcher, Wakeman and Crystal (Ray) Moore, Beallsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Alberta (Blair) Campbell, her son Perry R. Fleming; and her six siblings: Charles A. Oney, Christine Gemmel, William Oney, Phyllis King, Janet Boss, and Roger Oney.
