Ferenc M. Nagy 50, Gilmanton, N.H. died Feb. 5, 2013 from injuries sustained in automobile accident in Alton, N.H.
Nagy was born in Boston, Mass. on Oct. 6, 1962 and was the son of Ferenc and Anna L. (McMullan) Nagy. He was a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in business and transportation. He was a member of the Iron Eagle Motorcycle group and held membership in Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Gilmanton Year Round Library and Gilmanton Snowmobile Association and the Gilmanton Conservation Commission. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling and motorcycling. He was an Eagle Scout. Nagy was employed with Wolfeboro Bay Real Estate as an associate broker.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Ferenc Nagy in 1997; and a brother, Tibor H. Nagy in 1995.
Survivors include: his mother Anna M. Nagy of Lebanon and formerly of Bedford, Mass. and Hurden, Va.; one sister, Ilona Burdette and her husband Pat; a niece, Anna Stewart Burdette; and a nephew, Tibor Burdette, all of Lebanon.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Cain & Janosz Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Manchester, N.H. with burial in Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford, Mass. Rev Jamie Howard, pastor of the United Church of Christ officiated.

I served on the Conservation Commission in Gilmanton with Ferenc and always think of him as a gentle giant. He was a wonderful person and learning of his accident truly hurt my heart. My condolences to his friends and family and all those who appreciated and loved him.

I saw Ferenc 8 years ago after hiking out of a mountains. I went to get breakfast and ran into Him.I came up behind him and pushed him a bit. he turned and saw me and started laughing! he grabed my head and patted the top of it. He was his jolly old self joking with me.......

Ferenc and I were classmates in Bedford. Ferenc was friendly and had a great sense of humor, but it is his smile that I will always remember. I'm happy to have known him. Condolences to Ferenc's family and friends.
