I have fond memories of sharing hunting stories with Jim on the trading floor of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange. He was a good guy and fun to be around. Jim, I have a feeling you are getting your limit of greenheads every morning now. My sincere sympathy to the family.

We are so sorry for your loss. Jim was always good for a story at the end of the driveway as he checked out the neighborhood. We will miss him.

I have never met your father but, my parents told me that your dad was my dad's best man at his wedding. Also, when my older brother was ready to be born your dad drove them to the hospital. My dad passed away this past year but, my mom told me that your dad was very kind and a great friend to them both. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.Cherish the memories always.

I must have met you at a few backyard picnics and such without spending time talking. But when I met you at Peggy's funeral, I was struck by what a sweet and loving father you were, and enjoyed hearing about your and Peg's true love story. The next time or two that I saw you, I felt drawn to your presence by your winsome smile and was aware of a great love between you and your daughter, my friend Kathleen. You were a gentleman I'm glad to have known even briefly and I am sure you have earned a peaceful rest and joyful reunion with your beloved Peggy.

Thank you for the many years of kind words and a smiling face. Even though we weren't blood related, I considered you as much my uncle, as Peggy was my Aunt...I will never forget your hospitality when we visited you in the cities or up north...you made me laugh...Peace be with you!
