Joan L. Bailiff, 85
Joan L. Bailiff, 85, of West Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, in Rosewalk Village of Lafayette.
Born on September 7, 1927, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mable (Johnson) Merchant. She was married December 31, 1949, in Lafayette, to Ramon, who preceded her in death in 1992.
Joan was a member of the English Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and sewing.
Surviving are 2 sons, Bruce Bailiff, of West Lafayette and Dean (Connie) Bailiff, of Williamsport, a daughter, Gayle (Larry) New of West Lafayette. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday at Fisher Funeral Chapel.
