Patricia "Pat" Ann Gates
Born July 5th, 1942 in Phoenix AZ, passed away on February 20th 2013. She is survived by her sister Donna Williams, brother Richard "Dicky" Williams. Her children, Ron Smith, Debbie Mink, Denise Nichols. Grand- children Ericka Deike, Geoff Foskett, Brandon Foskett, Matt Smith, and Damien Nichols. Great Grandchild Andrew Deike. She is also survived by the ones who are family by marriage and loved her, Dora Ratzlaff ( sister in law) Larry Mink (son in law), Mendy Smith (daughter in law), Jennifer Foskett (granddaughter in law) Keith Deike (grandson in law) and Erin Smith (granddaughter in law). Pat retired in 2000 from GTE in Pomona CA. Pat's passion was being a quilter and sharing her love of quilting to others. She was so loved by her family and friends and she would talk to anyone anywhere and they would become her friend. She had a heart of gold and a smile to light up the room. Pat just loved helping people in any way that she could. She will be missed dearly, but will always be in our hearts. There will be no service per Pat's request. In lieu of flowers the family graciously request donations to be made in Pat's memory to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. (www.lls.org).
