Ruby Marie Jones (Helgeson)

Ruby passed away at her home on March 7, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.
Ruby was born in Rothsay, Minnesota to Agnes and Peter Helgeson. She received her nursing degree from Breckenridge Catholic Nursing College during the 1940's. She met her husband Bill at a U.S.O. dance in Breckenridge, Minn., later moved to California.
She worked at Roseville Hospital as a staff nurse, Educator and Assistant Director of Nursing until her retirement in 1989. She enjoyed her family and had a strong faith in Jesus and it showed in how she cared and treated others. She was an excellent role model of success, personally and professionally and will be greatly missed.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; and her son-in-law, Ken Katheiser. She is survived by her brother, Jason; her daughter, Diane Katheiser; her son, David (Mary Ann) Jones; grandchildren, Laini (Rob) Katheiser, Jon (Jennifer) Katheiser, Matthew (Shawn) Jones, Andrew (Stephanie) Jones; and great-grandchildren, Hannah and Cru Jones.
A memorial service will be at a later date.

To the family of Ruby Marie Jones: We don't always have to know a family to have empathy for them when they lose a loved one in death. I wish to express my condolences as you endure this great loss. Also, our loving heavenly Father is the "God of all comfort" and he can and will help you through this difficult period because "he cares for you".
