Tammy Rae Lascell Welles, age 42, of Palm City, Fla., died Feb. 19, 2013, unexpectedly, at her residence.
Born in Hartford and raised in Somers, she was a resident of Palm City since November of 2012. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker, devoting her life to her children.
She leaves behind the joys of her life, a daughter, Holly Lascell of Palm City and a son, Adam Lascell of Palm City; her mother, Shari Ruth (Tinsley) Lascell and father, Raymond (Skip) Lascell, both of Palm City, Fla., formerly of Chester, Conn.; her brother, Terry Lascell and his partner, Jason Dunne. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the United Church of Chester, 29 W. Main St., Chester, at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her children's education in the "Tammy Rae's of Hope" trust fund at any Wells Fargo Bank, c/o Terry Lascell.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss . Tammy was one of my first friends in elementary school. I thought it was great to have a friend with the same name. I have never forgotten Tammy though many years have past and when my children would meet a friend with the same name, I would always tell them about Tammy.
