We love you and we're missing you Virgil. I know that you are where you are supposed to be. God called up a very special Angel in you, and I know that of any job or task that you've ever been assigned, this is the best and most honored of all. You're an inspiration to me and I'm thankful and truly blessed that I got to be part of your family. So much love for you always.

Papa was the most kind hearted and gentlest man I have ever met. When I think back to my time spent with him there is nothing but great memories. One of my best memories was him cleaning out the hot tub in the back yard just for me... He spent several hours on that thing for me to use it for 30 minutes and then he got me ice cream afterwards. I love you papa and will miss you dearly

I met Virgil back in the 80s when his wife, Marie and daughter, Debbie volunteered with me at the Bridge Over Troubled Waters. I have many wonderful memories of the fun times we spent together. I don't believe that I have ever seen a man as devoted to his wife and family as Virgil; he was definitely one in a million. What a beautiful example his life is to all of us and I feel blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

Paw paw the best memory I have is coming over to your house on Chambers Creek Dr. And helping you mow the grass, afterwords you and I would get in your truck( the old one) you would light your pipe and we would go to the feed store and you would buy me ice cream sandwichs and we would go back to your house and watch wheel of fortune , and play marbles. I am going to miss you Paw paw. I love you!!
