Frances Wofford Weems

Greenville

Frances Wofford Weems, 79, of Greenville, widow of the late Julius Charles Weems, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

Born January 24, 1934, in Woodruff, SC, she was a daughter of the late Toy Lathan Wofford, Laura Godfrey Wofford, and her step mother, Martha Wofford.

Mrs. Weems was a loving mother, sister, and Nana.

She is survived by daughters, Stacey Evans, Soni Fowler, Brenda Rushton, and Bridget Zercher; brothers, Tommy Wofford, and Terry Wofford; six grandchildren and one great grandson.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Northwest Chapel.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Trinity Way Baptist Church at 4113 Old Buncombe Rd. Greenville, SC 29617 or Vista Care Hospice, 15 Brendan Way, Ste. 100, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will be at the residence.
