Nicholas Rovneyko Obituary

ROVNEYKO
Nicholas, of New Milford, was 94 when he passed away peacefully Monday May 6th.
Born in Newark, Nicholas lived in Bergenfield and Jersey City before settling in New Milford in 1951. He proudly served from 1943 to 1946 in the United States Army during World War II stationed in New Guinea, the Philippines, and Korea. Nicholas later worked in New York City as a Lithographer for Amalgamated Lithographers Union Local #1. He went on to own and operate Par Offset Plate Service in New York City. Prior to retirement in 1981, Nicholas was a lithographer for Davis Company in Moonachie.
He married the late Helen (nee Ciszewski) in 1948 was the father of Joanne S. Rovneyko of New Milford and Kenneth Rovneyko of Cumming, Georgia. He is survived by his sister Eleanor Bulwicz of Metuchen and is predeceased by his brothers Paul and Freddy Rovneyko.He leaves behind his granddaughters Jessica and Courtney.
Funeral serices from the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford on Saturday May 11th at 9 AM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Church Of the Ascension, New Milford 9:30 AM. Burial to follow Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Friends and relatives may visit the Funeral Home Friday 4-9 PM.
