Margie M. (Neely) Brock NEW PHILADELPHIA — Margie M. (Neely) Brock, 64, of Freeport, Ohio and formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
She was born December 7, 1948 in Burnside, Kentucky to the late Walter O. and Eva (Ford) Neely. Margie came to the Norwalk area in 1977 and moved to Freeport, Ohio in 1998.
She was a member of the Mt. Harvest Church of God, Milan, Ohio. Margie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Terra Technical College with a degree in Accounting.
She was a former employee of Van Dresser Corp., Norwalk, Ohio where she was active in the U.A.W. Margie enjoyed flower gardening, especially her roses, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James W. Brock, Sr. of Freeport, Ohio and by her children, James W. and Joan (Eldridge) Brock, Jr. of Olena, Ohio, Michelle Reed of Bellevue, Ohio and Brett and Cindy Brock of Norwalk, Ohio, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandson.
Margie is also survived by her sisters, Carol Matty of Cleveland, Ohio, Helen Hembree of Lorain, Ohio, and by her sister of her heart, Patty Morgan of Louisville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Chaffin.
Friends may call on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Harvest Church of God, 150 St. Rt. 113 West, Milan, Ohio. Rev. Carl Woodyard will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Harvest Church of God.

Its been a year Margie, and I still cant believe your gone. My poor brother is so lost without you............always and forever in our hearts!

I remember fondly the Neely girls when I was a child, Carol,Sue,Margie.We used to walk to the movies on Broadway together. My sincere sympathy to the family on the loss of your loved one. Your good memories will help you in this time of loss. (My mom was Ava)
