I rejoice that she is reunited with Jim and with our Heavenly Father, but I am saddened at the loss this wonderful woman in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with Craig, Jay, Patti, David and Jan, and the numerous special friends in her life she treated like family. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

Our hearts are deeply saddened, but Barbara's memory will be with us forever. We are thankful for the memories of our youth and the friendship that has remained with us over the years. Even in our sadness, we rejoice that she and Jim are together again in Heaven. Our prayers are with all the family that we know she loved with all her heart.

Barbara was a major part of my life - as was Jimmy. She allowed me to be her "little sister" and her children's "big sister" - which to this only child, a gesture that I have always remembered. May a choir of angels come to greet her and lead her to Paradise.

I can remember when we first moved to Spartanburg, Barbara was one of the first people to make us feel at home in a new city. She and Jim were one of the reasons we decided to join St Pauls. She has given so much to the community in so many ways. She has left such an impact on those that knew her. She will be missed
