Louise,
I was in the Basic Infantry Officers' Course with Dewey, whom we called "Govenor." After we graduated, I never saw him again, but when I saw the notice in the paper, I immediately remembered him, and what he looked like, and feel that I have lost a good friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Bill

Louise, Family and Friends of Dewey,

The impressive story of Dewey in his obit reflects his accomplishments but cannot fully describe his wonderful
qualities and his great spirit. He was an accomplished lawyer I admired and loved. He did it with integrity, his own style and unparalleled good humor. My life was truly enriched by knowing Dewey and having the privilege of being with him both professionally and personally over the years. He was a workhorse and lion of the profession and fine man. I will miss him dearly . My heart goes out to you all.
