Don I. Latimer
Don I. Latimer passed away Aug. 3, 2013. He was born to Fred and Ila Latimer in Mansfield, Mo., February 16, 1920.
Don married Dorothy Joliff in 1939 and two children were born. He married Frances Kinnamon Shaw in 1952 and three children were born. Don was a World War II veteran, serving in the South Pacific; he retired from Campbell "66" Express; and was a faithful member of Boulevard Baptist church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dorothy; his second wife, Frances; an infant daughter, Donnas; an infant son, Don; daughter, Christine; great-granddaughter, Allison; a brother, Leasel; and sisters, Geneva and Margie.
Don is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cloeta and Dean, Pat and Richard; three sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Evelyn, Norman and Kay, Charles and Kathy; and son-in-law and his wife, Jim and Gloria; fifteen grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dale Latimer, and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013, in Mansfield #5 Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to #5 Cemetery fund.

Wishing all the best to the entire family. I am saddened to learn of Don's passing.
Although people, life & time have all taken different paths over many years, , it doesn't change the fact that we all lived when "neighbors" were a bit more than folks just living next door. . I hold that time very near to my heart. Don (and Francis) were two of the best, ever.
