Laurette Kimball Obituary

ALLENSTOWN - Mrs. Laurette (Bergevin) Kimball, 82, a lifelong Allenstown resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association Hospice House, after a lengthy illness.

Born on March 25, 1931, Laurette was the daughter of Antonio and Alice (Rivard) Bergevin. She attended Pembroke Academy and spent 25 years working for Sprague Electric in Concord.

Laurette was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies of Ste Anne and the Ste Therese Rosebush Society. She was also a member of the Suncook Valley VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

Although she enjoyed time with family and friends, what she loved most was the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, especially fudge and cookies.

Laurette is survived by her husband of 62 years, Earl Kimball of Allenstown; a daughter, Gail Gamelin and her husband, Richard, of Allenstown; two grandchildren, Brian Gamelin and his wife, Kristine, and Jamie Lambert and her husband, Eric; four great-grandchildren, Laura and Bradley Gamelin and Carter and Kael Lambert; siblings, Madeleine Clement of Allenstown and Lucien Bergevin and his wife, Natalie, of Laguna Woods, Calif.; and many loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters, Gerard Bergevin, Lena Courtemanche, Maurice Bergevin, Germaine Girard, Lucille Lapierre, Donald Bergevin, Lillian Boisvert and Lorraine Stewart.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, Aug. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Petit Funeral Home, 167 Main St., Pembroke, where members of the Ladies of Ste Anne and the Rosebush Society will hold a prayer service at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown, with burial following in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to CRVNA Hospice Program, 30 Pillsbury St., Concord, 03301.

Earl, Gail,and Family,
Our hearts are so sad at the death of this wonderful woman. She was the "grandmother" and "mother" next door that we were so blessed to have in our lives. There is a void in the neighborhood that can never be replaced. We have wonderful memories that we will forever carry in our hearts. Love to you all.
