James J. Gilmore
AGE: 84 • Oaklyn
On August 16, 2013 age 84 of Oaklyn, NJ. He was the husband of the late Barbara (nee Baker) and father of Michael (Sharon) of Cinnaminson, Matthew (Heather) of Pennsauken and the late Joseph. He is also survived by four grandchildren Joshua, Corrine, Conor, and Sean; one brother Robert (Marie) of Willingboro and one sister Regina Gilmore of Mantua.
Mr. Gilmore was a decorated US Army Korean War veteran and an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00PM and Wednesday morning 9:00-10:00AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish - St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Road, Haddon Twp., NJ. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday 10:00 AM in St Vincent Pallotti Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Drive Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053. Michael, Sharon, Matt, and Heather I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a big part of this street. Whenever I was outside he would call over to me and say "Good Morning" or "How you doing" and sit in his little chair. I remember he used to push Josh in a swing outside on the porch..Such a great person, neighbor and friend. He will be greatly missed. =<(
