Cheryl Phillips Arnold, 64, of Harriman, passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, in Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville.
She was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and formerly employed as executive vice president of First Bank of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by parents, Bill and Pauline Phillips; and brothers, Charles "Cotton" Phillips and James "JT" Phillips.
Survivors include son, Jim McKinney and wife Donna, Knoxville; daughter, Robin Green and husband Dave, Knoxville; grandchildren, Avery and Mallory McKinney, and Carson and Claire Green; sisters, Billie Gillis, Dorbra Lee, Thelma Miller and Darlene Jones; special friend, Jerry Hicks; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, in Walnut Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Hartsell McCurry, the Rev. Jimmy Phillips and Dr. Bill Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow at Roane Memorial Gardens. Kyker Funeral Home, Harriman, is in charge of arrangements. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
