Mildred A. Richards, 94, of Cape Coral, Fla., passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013.
Born in 1918 in Cleveland, Mildred was married for 44 years to George C. Richards, who died in 1985. She retired as a cashier from the Kroger Grocery Company in 1982.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. George L. (Janet) Richards and Christopher T. (Helen) Richards; sister, Josephine Minello; two grandchildren, Dr. Patricia (Dr. Mark) Drake and Michael L. Richards; and one great-grandchild, Reagan Drake.
In addition to her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her son, James C. Richards; two sisters, Frances Peel and Elsie O'Hara; and two brothers, Joseph Furlan and Donald Furlan.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township. After Mass, a luncheon reception will be hosted at Hellriegel's Inn.
In lieu of flowers or memorial contributions, have a Mass said at your parish of choice for Mildred.
