David Turner Emmel, 87, joined his heavenly Father on Sept. 16, 2013, from the Bailey Center of Hospice.
David was a World War II Army veteran. His creative mind authored a book, founded numerous companies with patents from Philadelphia to St. Augustine. His entire life was surrounded by music, singing and organ playing.
He is survived by his wife Marian; daughter, Lisa; son, David and several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Memorial Presbyterian Church with Dr. Hunter Camp and Pastor Deena Galantowicz, officiating.
Craig Funeral Home Crematory Memorial Park www.craigfuneralhome.com is in charge of the arrangements.

Lisa, the Nath family offers you and your family our prayers and sympathy for the loss of your father. Your father accomplished many great things throughout his lifetime. Your father fought in the greatest war for our country and he shall continue to stand on that front line watching over you, David and all of his family members as one of God's Angels.
