ARGO- Robert "Bob" Shariett, age 71 of Argo, AL passed away on October 3, 2013. He was a lifelong member, and current board member, of Crossroads Community Nazarene Church. He was a Master Craftsman of Carpentry, loved to sing, plant flowers and enjoy God's creations. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie A. Shariett and Lillie M. Shariett; sister Jeanette Thomas & her husband, John; brothers, Charles A. Shariett & Bill L. Shariett. He is survived by his wife, Sharon C. Shariett; son E. DeWayne Shariett (Jennie); daughter, DeAnn Shannon (Mark); sisters, Geneva Aycock (Jesse), Lois Sedberry (George), Myra Davis Edwards (Jim), Rebecca A. Shariett and Dorothy Shariett; grandchildren, Adrienne McClendon (Lance), Allison Shariett (Daniel Jones), Noah Shannon, Rachel Shannon, Caleb Shannon & Sarah Shannon; great grandchildren, Madison Shariett, Joshua Walker & Keaton Mott, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Services were Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Crossroads Community Nazarene Church located at 1998 Shades Crest Rd., Vestavia Hills, Al. Burial followed at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Rev. Michael Johnson officiated over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directed.

Sharon, Tandy and I are so very sorry for your Loss. Your sweet husband meant so much to us, we love you both so much and feel so blessed to have you as our neighbors ! I now know why God was putting you on my heart so heavy ! Please call on us ANYTIME you need ANYTHING ! We will miss Bob so much, it was always so nice to stop by and talk to you both when ya'll were working in the yard. Love you !

I'll always respect Bobby for many things, but mostly because he was truly a Christian brother and he will definitely be missed. My prayers are with the family that God will comfort each one of them.
