Lucaria F. Pacheco, 76, a life long resident of Tecolote, passed away on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at Alta Vista Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Monico and Selenir Ortega Solano; in-laws, Vicente and Albina Pacheco, Marcario Pacheco, Sam Salazar, Ben Montoya, Louisa, Solano, Carlos Espinoza, Isabel Trujillo; a son-in-law, Dennis Esquibel, and Godson, Ruben Romero.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Filadelfio of Tecolote; four sons, Fernando Pacheco and companion, John of Denver, Colo., Phil Pacheco Jr and wife, Lilly, Edward Pacheco and wife, Nancy, and Mario Pacheco, all of Tecolote; three daughters, Annette Sanchez and husband Gerald of Tecolote, Barbara Pacheco-Esquibel and companion, Andy Padilla of Rio Rancho, and Donna Romero and husband, Augustine of Tecolote; three brothers, Luis Solano and Polin Solano and wife, Viola all of Denver, Colo., and Antonio Solano and wife, Fidelia of Tecolote; three sisters, Rita Trujillo of Tecolote, Carolina Espinoza of Moriarty, and Delicia Pacheco of Tecolote; 17 grandchildren, Breanna, Christina, Felicia, Nicole, Amanda Esquibel, E.J., Randy, Daniel, Bobby, Kimberley and husband, Lonnie, Andrew, Denise, Desirae, Joey, Faith, and Robbie; seven great-grandchildren, E.J., Santiago, Aiden, Angelica, Julian, Bradyn, and Madison; a brother-in-law, Ramon Pacheco and wife, Lorraine of Denver, Colo.; two sisters-in-law, Frances Salazar and Lucy Montoya, both of Tecolote; and by numerous nephews, nieces, and god children and other relatives and friends.
A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Tecolote and Las Vegas and was a member of the Tecolote Community Club.
Her hobbies included making blankets, bingo, enjoyed playing cards and loved to cook for her grand kids.
A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. today (Friday) from St. Francis Chapel at Gonzales Funerals & Cremations, 2315 Hot Springs Blvd. Services will be held from Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, today (Friday) evening at 7:30 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday. The interment will follow in Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Tecolote with the following serving as casket bearers: Mario, E.J., and Randy Pacheco, Daniel Sanchez, and Joey and Robbie Romero.

My condolence to the Pacheco family. I met Mr. & Mrs. Pacheco through my work a few years ago and truly took a liking to them and specifically to Mrs. Pacheco. She was indeed a very nice an warm lady.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all of Lucaria's family. She had a big heart and loved all members of our family. We will miss her visits to Reno, playing cards, and sitting and talking on the patio. God Bless her and File, and all the siblings, kids, grand kids still here. We will see her again...
