Roberta, GA- Vivian Kay Nelson Asbell, 65, of Roberta, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Bo and Arilla Nelson of Reynolds, GA and was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Windham. She was retired from Bellsouth and GA Power and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her two children, Christy Jackson and Michael Asbell; grandchildren, Hunter Harris and Sidney Asbell; one great-grandchild; a brother, James Nelson of Milledgeville; a sister, Trena Johnson of Macon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
