Everett L. Duff

Everett L. Duff, was born on March 8, 1921 in Pittsfield, Illinois and left this earthplane on February 23, 2014.
He married Marjorie Louise Woodall on May 5, 1943. Everett began working as a field laborer in 1940 for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Company and retired as a director 45 years later. He was a member of the Elks Club for 60 years and served as an exalted ruler. He loved his family, life and golf. He was a man of highest integrity. He had a sense of humor and a postive attitude that will be missed.
The last several years his residence has been at the Wentworth at Willow Creek Assisted Living. The family wishes to express gratitude to them for their kind and loving care.
Private graveside services will be held Friday. A viewing will be held Friday, 11:00 am - 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.

I had the pleasure to meet Everett by working at the Wentworth he was a wonderful man he asked to see me the Saturday before he passed away so he could say bye I guess and I am really glad I went I had seen him a couple days before that. I am so sorry for your loss.

My mother, Ida Watanabe, was a resident at the Wentworth, who passed away in January. Our family will be forever grateful for the many kindnesses shown to her by Everett. May you be comforted by the fond memories of a kind and gentle man.

My Dearest Everett, or the Candy man! i'm am truly honored to have known such an amazing person! You were honestly a friend to all! I have loved being able to take care of you for the past year and to have known you! You inspired me to become a better friend/person as a whole, thanks for that! Ill miss you dearly but i know that ill be able to see you again, until we meet again!
