He also served on the Danbury Hospital Auxiliary Board for 6 years as treasurer of the gift shop. While in Brookfield, he continually associated with the St. Joseph Church Men's Club and the maintenance committee until 2005 when he and Mary moved to Heritage Village. Ed was a loving father, grandfather and father-in-law and a devoted family man. His favorite vacation was spending every summer with his entire family at "the Cape". He was an avid Red Sox fan and an animal lover who always had a canine best friend by his side. The obituary is a fine tribute to your father. We have known him for over forty years yet never realized all activities he was involved in except for being in the military and handling the books for the Boy Scouts. He was a giving man and a contributor to his community. He will be sorely missed. But we know he is at peace. Condolences to all the family.
Love,
Peg & Bill Kaswer
