I worked for Bob at Scipar in the 80s and look back fondly at this time. I met some wonderful people, we had a lot of fun together there and I personally learned so much. I moved to the Boston area and turned what I learned at Scipar into a successful career. I owe so much to Bob for the opportunities he gave me. I send my deepest sympathies to Brenda, Michael, Jennifer and their families. Sue (Conway) Morse

Dear Brenda and family,
I have many wonderful memories of Bob as my classmate at Maryvale High School Our science and math classes, band, and tennis are just a few things that we shared, as well as our weddings. This old history teacher will always remember Bob as the man who was born on the 4th of July.
Sincere condolences to you and your family.

Judy and I were shocked and saddened to learn about Bob's death and send our heartfelt sympathy to Brenda and family.
I first met and subsequently worked with Bob starting in 1961 when he joined Cornell Labs in Buffalo.
I discovered that my wife, Judy Hinchliffe Sturge, worked with Bob's future wife Brenda Lutz as Assistant Buyers at the Wm. Hengerer Co.
Bob married Brenda and we attended the wedding so our friendship spans over 50 years.
We will always fondly remember Bob and all the special times we shared over the years and I will especially miss our conversations and Bob's keen intellect and wit.
Our thoughts are with you Brenda and your family.

Dear Brenda, Michael and Jennifer, Bob was a very special person to me. I joined Scipar in 1983 to help out for a few months. Went full time in 1985. Bob was founder and President and was a wonderful person. He always took a special interest in everyone that worked for him. Always kidded around and made you feel like you were special. Bob always was interested in hearing about our families. He helped me so much when my Dad (1974) and also when my husband (2003) passed away. He will be missed terribly. I always enjoyed seeing him when he would stop in Scipar after his retirement. He loved talking about all his grandchildren and was so proud of his family. Thoughts and prayers to all.

As SCIPAR Employee#3 when Bob was building his new business in the mid seventies, I have nothing but fond memories and reflection on the professional opportunities provided to me during my 11 years working for Bob. Going on to raise three children and losing touch over the years, it was with great sorrow to hear of Bob's passing. Larry and I send our deepest sympathy to Brenda and the family during this very difficult time. Our thoughts are with you.

I'm saddened by Robert's passing. The many memories of our high school days at Maryvale and the science program that allowed us to visit the many industries in Western NY, will not be forgotten. May God ease the pain of his loss.
