Funeral service for J.D. Hudson, 78, will be today at 1 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel. He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Martha and son, Terry at Morton's Chapel Cemetery. Benji Miller will be officiating with Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing. Pallbearers will be Chris Hudson, J.D. Hudson Jr., Robin Nelson, Buren Rains, Dan Higgins and Anthony Adams. Survivors include his sons, Jerry Hudson, Charles Hudson, Wayne Hudson, all of Wellington, J.D. Hudson Jr., of Gadsden and Tommy Hudson, of Gadsden; daughter, Vickie Nelson, of Altoona; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Doris Nolan, of Dothan and Diane Padget of Ohatchee.
