REYNOLDS Donald Gerald, 88, was born on July 29, 1925 in Woodstock, NY, and died on March 17, 2014 in Washington, DC. Don is predeceased by his parents, Ada B. McDaniel Reynolds and Gerald Britt Reynolds, and his two sisters, Norma Gallagher and Ruth Freer. Don is survived by his son, Donald Britt Reynolds, his daughter-in-law, Catherine Creech, and his grandchildren, Martha Blair Reynolds, and Robert B. Reynolds of Washington, DC. He is also survived by Jeanette Reynolds, family friend Yvonne Hackworth, and two nieces and two nephews. Don served in the United States Marine Corp during WWII. He lived in and near Poughkeepsie, New York until 1958, when he moved to Lexington, KY with IBM. Don retired from IBM, after a 36 year career, in 1982. Don was a former pilot, an avid gardener, and golfer. He was a member of Meadowthorpe Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be 12-2pm followed by Funeral services at 2pm Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, KY 40507. In lieu of flowers, donations may be provided to The Larry Gilbert Foundation, The First Tee of Lexington, 3403 Kearney Road, Lexington, KY 40511.
