Edward J. Eddie Morris, of Marshfield, passed away at home March 22, 2014 after a period of failing health. Formerly of Dorchester, Wollaston, and Englewood, Florida. Son of the late John Morris and Grace (Ducey) Morris, Eddie was the loving husband of Doris Dot Morris for 55 years, loving father of Michael Morris and his wife Diane of Braintree, Maryellen Boudreau and her husband Eddie of Marshfield, Tricia Folan and her husband Sean of Dorchester, Paula Delaney and her husband Jim of Braintree, as well as 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brother of the late Eileen Cameron, Jack Morris, Marion Casey, Paul Morris, and Virginia Sepeck. Eddie was a Korean War Veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a machinist for General Dynamics. Visiting hours was held in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte. 139 in Marshfield on Tuesday, March 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 26, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann by the Sea Church, 591 Ocean Street, Marshfield, at 10 a.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eddies memory can be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell MA 02061.
