Mary Harson
DUSON - Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Family Life Church 2223 Dulles Dr, Lafayette, LA 70506 for Mary Wilma Bourque "TuhTuh" Harson, 72, who passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 5:07 pm at her residence surrounded by her family.
Pastor Todd Menard of Family Life Church will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place at a later date at St. Basil Mausoleum in Judice, LA
Mary Wilma, a resident of Duson, LA was the daughter of the late Larfize Bourque and the former Bernice Clark.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, John Nelson Harson; her mother Bernice Clark Bourque; her son, Mark A. Harson and wife Jolene; her daughters, Wendy L. Mouton and husband Floyd, Christina J. Lopez and husband Brent, her son, Eric J. Harson, her five grandchildren, Kristi and Bailey Harson, Victoria and Amanda Mouton and Sommer Lopez; two great grandchildren, Kyleigh Wright and Grayson Santana Lopez; two foster kids Jason and Jeri Bourque; four sisters, Genevieve Leon, Brenda Bourque, Tina Grimm and Stephanie Dufrene; four brothers, Wilbert, Wilfred, Dalton and Robert Bourque.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larfize G. Bourque; one granddaughter, Santana M. Lopez and her godchild, Denise Leon.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Scott on Tuesday , April 8, 2014 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Visiting hours will continue on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 8:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Mark and Eric Harson, Floyd Mouton, Brent Lopez, Ashton Dussouy and Jason Bourque.
The family would like to thank Michelle Bordelon with Family Choice Care and Janelle Clark for the compassionate care given to Mary.
