SELF, Betty, 83, passed away on April 6, 2014. She is survived by her husband J. Floyd Self, daughter; Gayle S. Martin (Mike); grandchildren; Cameron Martin, Luke Martin, Maddie Martin. Not everyone is blessed with a mother who puts every ounce of who she is a side, to love and care not only for her own children, or grandchildren, but anyone who passes her way. Betty was that mother; loving, kind, humble, unselfish. Alzheimer's may have stolen her most cherished memories, but never stole her spirit. We have lost one of God's brightest lights. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Betty's name to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org or 1.800.272.3900 or LifePath Hospice at 813.877.2200 Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 412 E. Zack Street, Tampa, FL Please sign the online guestbook at www.BlountCurryMacdill.com
