Chiles, Ella “Peg”; age 73; of Blanchard; passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014; at The Laurels of Fulton in Perrinton. The daughter of Cecil and Rita (Thompson) Esch, she was born on July 21, 1940 in Remus. For many years Peg owned and operated her own janitorial service and cleaned banks, offices, and private homes. She had also worked at the former Hitachi Magnetics Corporation in Edmore, but her greatest pleasure was in time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Arlene Ostby and Barbara Bell; 3 brothers, John Voss, Keith Voss, and Donald Voss; and a grandson, “Baby” Lance Eldred. Surviving are her children, Shawn and Dale Price, Robert Eldred, Lenny Eldred, Stacey Eldred, all of Greenville, and Steve Winnie of Sidney; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Jeanette Voss of Canadian Lakes and Ann Voss of Blanchard, and many nieces and nephews. Honoring her wishes, private family Services will be held at Wambold Cemetery near Remus at a later date. Instead of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Peg’s memory to the CHDI Foundation (Cure Huntington’s Disease Initiative).
