Carol "C.J." Bledsoe
Palm Bay, FL
MSGT Carol J. Bledsoe (Ret), passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014. Carol was born on June 15, 1939 in Danville, VA. He served in the USAF and retired after 22 years. He then went to work for Bellsouth in Miami and retired after 24 years.
Carol also enjoyed his many years in the Ching Lung Kuoshu Kwan/ International Federation of Chinese Martial Arts in New Jersey. While in Miami, he started the Green Dragon Martial Arts School of South Florida and co-partnered the Florida Black Belt Association. He was also recognized in the book "Who's Who in American Martial Arts."
He moved to Palm Bay so he could enjoy his retirement days where he loved playing golf with the Horse & Riders at PAFB.
Carol Bledsoe is survived by his loving wife, Jean "Cookie" Bledsoe; his children, James (Emily) Bledsoe, Jacqueline (Luis) Boneri; his stepson, Edward (Christina) Mathews; his eight grandchildren, and loving dog, Jazzy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Please join the family for a celebration of his life at the Tides Collocated Club, Patrick Air Force Base, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.

I worked with Carol at Bellsouth Engineering in Miami (Perrine). He was a man that could get the job done while always wearing a smile. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

Carol was good man who told the best stories. To me, that means he lived a full life. He knew how to make people laugh and was always a joy to be around. I have a pretty awesome sister-in-law so I have to give Carol credit for that. I love the Bledsoe family and wish you all my best.

So very sorry for your loss. I knew Mr. B at McGuire AFB and after he retired in Florida. He was a great mentor as a senior enlisted professional as well as in the martial arts. Sending healing thoughts to your family.
