I don't know Mr. Kalies or his family but I hope you will accept my sympathy on his passing. The very nice picture reminded me of my grandfather so I read the obituary. I was sorry to read that his wife also passed recently-that's very difficult to lose both parents in such a short time. I want to thank Mr. Kalies for his service to our country and for being such a fine example to his family with his commitment to our country and his community. May you all cherish the difference he and your mother made in your lives.
