Charlie and Family -
What do you say to a family that just lost a priceless treasure?! How can you possibly find words to comfort or convey your deepest sympathy? You can't. It's beyond my comprehension. I have not walked down this path (I can't even handle the thought of that day to come) so I cannot feel your pain. I do know that your father/husband was an Extraordinary man who was deeply respected and loved by so so many. He gave to me a sense of security and peace whenever he was around. I adored him. And though he may be gone, he will forever be here with you. As well as a part of my wonderful memories made with your family. I will eternally be grateful to all of you for not only allowing us to trample our way into your summers but you welcomed us into your family. Those memories will forever be a part of us. Kept safe and treasured.
Love you all so very much. I pray you find peace, until you are together again.
